Bridal Hair & makeup Stylist
I've always loved makeup for as long as I can remember!!
I pretty much stumbled into becoming a makeup artist, although it has always been my dream.
I made the big move to Southern California in 2013 to pursue more arts and culture while making a living as a manager for Hot Topic. I kind of fell into making money vs doing what I truly loved. Makeup!
Although I did love customer service, fashion and music, something was just missing.
One day I ran into the manager from the MAC counter. After chatting with her about business and our love for makeup artistry, I decided to take a leap of faith and expressed how I had always dreamed of working for her company. The idea of doing makeup all day was dreamy to me! Long story short, that moment eventually lead to me quiting my job and becoming a makeup artist for MAC!
After being a manager for the company for two years, I realized the retail aspect of being a makeup artist wasn't really what I wanted to be doing. SOO I decided to quit and go to beauty school. Eventually I found myself attending Cinema Makeup School, where I completed their Masters Makeup course, specializing in special effects, beauty makeup and hair styling. Since I've attended CMS, I have had the opportunity to work on movie and commercial sets, ad campaigns, back stage during LA fashion week, and for award shows. Through these opportunities I have been extremely honored to work along side very talented people on some amazing projects!
In the last 2 years, I shifted gears a tad, became a mom and started honing my artistry toward bridal beauty. Although I love editorial and artistic projects, the friendships and connections I get with my brides have been very rewarding. It's very special to me to do someones hair and makeup for such a special day of their life. Im so blessed to do something I love everyday of my life. I love sharing my story with others and of course always encourage them to pursue their dreams!
